Who/What/When/Huh?
My birthday is September 21st. It's a wonderful, glorious day, and I want everyone to celebrate it. How? By giving to their local animal shelter.

How to Play
A few ways--and playing one way doesn't mean you can't play all the others!
1. You can donate swag. Email me at skyladawncameron [at] gmail [dot] com. Let me know what you'd like to donate as well as how you'd like to be credited (and what link I should use) as well as any geographical restrictions (ie. some of the above are open to international winners, others are North America only, etc).
Note: Peeps already listed-- just threw this together, so if you want to be credited differently or have a different link included, please let me know!
2. Donate something to your local animal shelter/animal org. It can be anything. It can be a few hours of your time. It can be $$$. It can be food, blankets, towels, etc. You can adopt an animal in need. ANYTHING! Just give something back to the most often forgotten, helpless little creatures who need you!
3. Have you adopted from a shelter? Blog your adoption story and post furbaby pics!
4. Tweet, Facebook, etc about Skyla's Birthday Bash the day of! (Alternatively, I've been using the #skylasbdayofDOOM hashtag.)
5. Probably other stuff as I come up with it.

How to Win a Nifty Prize
Do something to support your local shelter/animal org and tell us about it, or blog your adoption story!
As much as I'd love the honour system, if you can get me some kind of proof, that'd be nifty. Screenshot of a receipt, cell phone pic of you dropping off items at the shelter--whatever you can think of would be awesome. If you can't, that's cool too. Just drop us the specifics of what/where you donated. But know that if you try to cheat, I'll hunt you down and feed you to the feral cat I just rescued from under a dumpster. She'll totally eat you too. She's HUNGRY.

Some of the prizes will be restricted to certain geographical areas. That's up to the kind folks donating. Some will be international, though, so everyone can play! I'll update soon.
